About me;
My name is Tim and i'm from a little village in The Netherlands. I've got a lovely girlfriend who lives in The Hague so that is where i reside often. Currently im unemployed, what makes ideal for leveling, but looking for a job. In september my school starts and that is when im stuying to be a security manager. I don't concider myself as a gamer, allthough im an above average player with everything i play, but more as a plain idiot. I've many weird/cool hobby's such as rescue swimming, karate, warhammer 40.000 and gaming offcourse. As of last year i owned a little distribution company which brought in a lot of dough for me, so last year i was finally able to buy a decent powerhouse.
As of gaming i'm a real nutcase, i own what i call a nintendo collection, allmost all NES stuff, many N64 stuff, some Neo-Geo things and my absolute pride an arcade cabinet. offcourse some other stuff but this was just to point out how much i enjoy gaming. As for games i realy like RTS, FPS, games like Hitman and Splinter Cell. Last year i played a whole lot of BF2. Allthough i played a lot of MMO and MMORPG (WOW beta and Normal at friends accounts and some other online games) it never kicked in, or actually i withheld myself from playing. Because the time when WOW was released i had my school exams.
Just recently i started with WOW, with the beginning of BC. After watching my girlfriends roommate play WOW for ages i couldnt stand it anymore. I've seen so much and i knew so much about it, that even without playing i could tell him things he didnt knew. As of that moment i was able to play some hours a day, when he was working. - thank you Gloing
But with the release of BC i got myself the whole package and started my very own Blood Elf Paladin. I thought it would be a cool horde race and paladin would be something welcome to existing guilds.
From that day on i could be seen on Runetotem. I leveled very quick trough the first 20 levels with mostly Holy and a little Retribution. As of lvl 28 i respecced everything in Retribution. From that day it took me just a week to get to lvl 40. But when i got my horse i slacked. But with a little help of a good friend im now 50+. -thanks Hajiro
My Char is called Palee, that because my nickname has always been Lee but that was allready taken.
As of now im nearly 52 and trying hard to get to Outland to gather some serious exp.
I enjoy playing as a paladin because i can do all sorts of stuff, attack like a warrior, mid-field when buffing and aggro control and heal like a priest. This creates a very nice play enviorment.
As of now im Retribution specced for fast leveling so i hope to hit 70 very soon and if it's for the sake of the team it wouldn't bother me to respec again.
I also started the new Profession, Jewelcrafting,106. I felt it was kind of necessary and it's a nice and handy profession. Allthough it was my second Proffession after i picked Enchanting (235) thus im reliant on supplies from other people. - thanks again Gloing
Besides that i've First-Aid, 300. Cooking, 150 and Fishing, 123.
Previous Guilds;
I as of now im in Dark weasels, i know this is not according your application rules. But let me tell some more about this.
Around level 30 me and another real life friend wanted to join a guild, and having disclined a whole lot of requests i wanted to look for a good one. So i started applying here. But by the time wasabi told me to come up with a better letter my friend had allready found a guild. After some discussion i also joined and come to know a few other persons who i like to play with.
Aside of that i met some guy, Hajiro, around my lvl 25 mark. And we met occasionally, most of the time we run into each other without purpose. So now i spend a good lot of time playing with him since lvl 40.
At one moment he told me he was the alt of Sereno from PoC, so i asked if he knew Gloing.... so on the chat started and went on and on.
He was/ is realy exiting to get me to join PoC, because of that i allready spoke to Asimonde and Skullrot about this matter.
Besides that, i talked to my current guild master and told her about this isshue. She was dissapointed about my departure but wished me luck.
Raid Experience;
Very bold; None.
That sounds not very exiting but im very well known with the bosses and the instance map's.
I've been looking over Gloing's shoulder for many hours when you guys where playing MC and such.
As of now i love doing instances and working together in a tight group. I just love the coordination and dealing with the problems you face.
I'm not a sore loser so an ocassional wipe just brings me insight in what needs to be better.
I'm happy to say that i need to learn a lot about raiding and i hope you folks can be good mentor's.
Why Us?
From the day Gloing joined PoC, ive been seeing much from you guys. And hoped to become a member once.
Thats why i choose to go play on Runetotem, Besides two of my closest friends are also on this server.
And one thing i realy like about PoC is that it's very serious in raiding but when not doing such a thing it's always fun.
And last but not least, i realy like to join because of the raiding. This is one of my most anticipated endgame experiences to come :)
I hope i can be a nice addition to the pack and where i can prove myself as an individual and a teamplayer.
