I have to add that i usually served as disciple priest in wotlk, and if the
application was succesfully, i will regem and i have the item for
the craft of sash of ancient power and spellsinger slippers.


Playing Times
I usullay play all days, sometimes i take saturday as off day.
When I don't work, like these days, i don't have fixed play times, i log
on when there is something to do, in the morning and
in the afternoon, and of course in the evening.
In the evening I usually log on around 19:30 server time and i have no
problems to stay logged until 00:30-01:00.
When I work i usually play only in the evening with the same times, and
sometimes for an hour or so during lunchtime for making dailies.

Reasons for Applying
I am looking forward to see if in horde the is a more mature ambient, and
people that are not only interested in loot. I look for a good guild that
do endgame without drama and I have a friend that is in ZG that told
me that you can be the guild for me.

Raiding Experience
In classic with my paladin i cleaned MC, BWL, ZG, AQ 20, AQ 40, deep in Naxx but
istance not cleared.
When TBC come out i switched main on Shadia my priest, and i clean as holy
Gruul's Lair, Karanzhan, Maghteridon's Lair.
Then I switched to shadow and I cleaned SSC, TK, and BT.
SWP cleaned as well (on m'uru when the nerf patch was released).
For guild i specced disciple for wotlk, and we cleaned all content, with
Glory of the Rider and Heroic Glory of the Raider got before ulduar released.
In ulduar i was in the koh grp during the server first kill at Yogg-saron all
the heroic ulduar achievements i have in my armory profile are gained before
3.2 was released

Your Role
The role of shadowpriest... well, after wotlk was released almost all the dps
classes do the same job, dps dps and dps, the class characterization of tbc when
the shadowpriest was usefull for his mana regen, is long gone; other classes
can give replenish now, but i still think that shadow priest is still the best
class for replish. For the gem i fear the only one good for shadow priest is
red one +spellpower, too many dot for waste spellpower in + crit. Blue gems
are needed only for the meta jem chaotic skyflare diamonds.
Unfortunatly I don't have wws to present cuase i served as discipline.

Hi Shadya. After discussion we decided we will have to delay deciding on your application until the faction change is actually available in the EU, so we’ll put this on hold for now.

A couple of specific things though:

For the gem i fear the only one good for shadow priest is
red one +spellpower, too many dot for waste spellpower in + crit.

Maybe it’s not what you mean, but this makes it sound a bit like you think DoTs can’t crit – which of course they can nowadays. You’re obviously right that pure spellpower gems are the best choice still, unless the socket bonus is particularly great or something; I’ve been sorting out my own Shadow offgear lately and I tend to just follow the stat weights on shadowpriest.com (http://www.shadowpriest.com/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=22720) – can’t seem to use Rawr as the current build is massively over-valuing haste. You’ll need to use some hit gems to get capped at least until you can replace your last healing tier pieces. Getting Sash of Ancient Power makes sense, and should let you use fewer +hit gems. I don't think there’s much point in getting Spellslinger’s Slippers, their EP is pretty much identical to your Savior's Slippers, except they’ve got Haste instead of Crit. You could replace Forethought Talisman with Sundial of the Exiled – still pretty good despite the ancient ilevel.

Oh, have you tried this addon (MFClip (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/mfclip.aspx))? It’s nice for interrupting Flay right after the second tick if MB or a DoT is ready, and keeps cool stats on how good your DoT uptime is. I stumbled across it when trying to find ways to improve my shadow DPS for Algalon.

Of course i know that now dots and mf can crit, but i think the damage bonus
that a red gem gives is still better than the orange gem according to
maxdps.com, the red gem on shadowpriest still grants a little amount of
dps more than orange, considering the fact that a +10 crit rating at 80 is really
a small amount in %.
That's doesn't mean that all shadowpriest gems have to be red, but i think
that almost all of them has to be +spellpower.
For the +hit i have to admit i have miscalculated the rating not considering
that horde hasn't draenei, cause with sash of the ancient power my
hit rating is capped. :errf:

No :P, but from my raid experience i notice that shadowpriest are the best class
considering the dps/replenish rate. When i have a shadowpriest in raid i have
less problem watching the mana bar (speaking as disciple), but i have to admit
that this is considering the 10 man raid that are pretty easy, cause i don't
rememeber a 25 mar done without a shadowpriest since early karhanzan :P
However i know the blizzard motto for this expansion is all classes can do all... :confused:

No I never tryed that addon, i use fortexorcist for the cd on mind blast and dot
expiring time, but i will try it to see if it usefull.
