Couple of things you may want to take on board - you will have to run with DBM as an add on at the very least. The inbuilt threat meter will work but there are better ones that you can get. There isnt really a need for a DPS meter but most people run with it. Your tracks and aspects can also be handled by add ons more efficiently than you can do them. Although tracking isnt such a big thing these days.

Your enchants need some looking at as do your gemming - I know where you are coming from and trying to get the bonus stats for each item - however by having stamina gems and not agi gems you are losing far more than you are gaining - you might want to reconsider your reasons for using these.

Your gear is more than ready for Ulduar so congrats on gathering it all up.

Curious also about your choice of pet? why a cat?

Also another piece of advice I can give you is the things that are not on GCD - then write a macro to incorporate them into your normal rotation - this way you dont accidentally forget to use them.

You might want to take a look at elitistjerks (http://elitistjerks.com/f74/) web site at the help and advice they give.

The talents are close enough to that required from a similarily geared hunter as to not make much difference, you may be able to use the tools here to test and little tweaks you may consider without it costing you money.

Your shot rotation is good - but I would rethink your glyphs - and although minor glyphs are rubbish, they are still better than an empty slot.

I wish u came a bit faster here, as im looking for an experienced hunter to teach me some tricks.

- DBM is an essencial addon for raids, but i used to raid without addons and kept all my senses focused on the raiding environment not to make stupid mistakes. However, i know it makes a hard job easier, and i have no problems using it, as for having a threat meter.

- About the tracking. I have been wondring about the 1st talents in the Survival tree. as i understood of it, i must have the track on the types of mobs to get 5% increased dmg. (dont know if it has another hidden meaning, but 5% is a big deal).

- As for my enchants, they are atmost proper ones, with the exeption of my shoulder enchant & , according to Be.imba.hu, my hand enchant, but hey, tell me what u think is better and i can give it a try. When it comes to my gems, i know that stacking Agility is better, but i like to get the bonuses as they add some variety to my stats, like getting some raw crit, armor pent, or haste. Still, i can re-gem if it feels better.

- My pet. It is Bangalash form STV, and i have been playing with it as it seems to have a good combination of hight attacks and buffs. Also, i have read somewhere on EJ that cats are ok. However, if u suggest another type of pets, let me know :)

- Yes, about the GCDs. I have thought about making a macro for them, but as they are only 2 abilities (unless if there is more and i dont know), it is somewhat easy to have them in mind.

- The talent build: i chose this one as a modified form of a build that i had in mind after checking EJ, and the diffrences between this and the one on EJ is that i get a 100% chance from talents instead of 66%, aimed shot, and 25 focus to my pet when i crit. Still, i can manage to try other builds, but im happy with this one atm.

- The Glyphs: the only glyph i can think of and i dont have is Of Kill Shot, but i took Of Sting instead as it adds additional dmg all the time, not only at 20% or so, as i might be dead by then :rolleyes: . Plus, with good dps in the raid, i would only get the chance to fire one more Kill Shot at the boss b4 it goes down.

Tracking used to be that you needed to track the exact mob you were shooting at to get the bonus - now it has been changed so you can track any from the list to get that bonus as long as you are tracking one of them

Your hand enchant annoys me because all of the stat web sites class it as a less than optimal enchant - when infact it get the best DPS - but only when you use it as often as possible - hence the macro comment - however you need to work on the sons of Hodir rep to get the top enchant and there is a better chest enchant. Having variety is all well and good but not at the expense of DPS - download the spreadsheet and see what the different gems can get you

Check out the spreadsheet again and look for the accepted best glyphs - Kill shot is one of them - again I do know where you are coming from with this but there are a lot of people out there who are prepared to do the hard work so that we can copy what they recommend, personally I thank them for saving me time :clap:

- I guess i got the idea of tracking correct then.
- My hand rocket. I understood that it annoys u, but u think it is good at the same time, so, what do u suggest? i can keep it and do it every CD, or i can change the enchant.
- Sons of Hodir: As i stated before, this character was not mine, and my brother didnt lvl up in The SPs, so this means that i have to do all the Qs in there, and i didnt like the sound of this idea. Still, i would do it when i have enough time.
- The spread sheet. I dont really know how this thing works (guess im not the 1st:redface: ), but i tried to download it and got troubles with the hosting website. However, i will take ur advice for granted and c if i can re-gem soon.
- Chest Enchant. I know that i can get 10stats on my chest instead of 8stats, but this would be a waste on a piece that i would most likely change when i step into Uld10/25, not to say that i dont care about 2 increased stats, but to say that if im going to pay much, it would better be worth it.
- About my pet: i checked the talents of the cat and the wolf, and they seem to be the same (atleast to me), so if there is anything special about getting a wolf that i dont know about, tell me plz. However, it is easy to catch a wolf if needed.
- The glyph. It is about the spread sheet again, and i would most likely need help from u to understand the mechanism of this thing, but on EJ (as u always refer to this site), they said that Glyph of SS is accepted aswell (im guessing that u want me to change SS to KS, as the choise of ur glyphs). Still, it is not a problem at all, can get a glyph, no worries.

Btw, dont think that i debate so much about things cuz i dont want to pay or change stuff, it is just i like to know what im doing and for what purpose. Another thing, if there is someone doing the hard work for me, i would like to try his results and add/chalenge them, afterall, we are all humans and make mistakes (even if it comes to math).:nerd:

Just to pick up on these points about enchants, the way that I have always looked at it is: if you don't max enchant the gear that you have, then you must not particularly care about having the higher stats that will allow you to do your job just that little bit better, and if this is the case, why should you be given loot with better stats in the first place, when you have already shown that you are not that bothered about maxing out your gear?

And about the spreadsheet: we expect everyone to be able to use them, with no exceptions, otherwise how would you know what items, gems and enchants are going to give you the maximum benefit, and bid/improve accordingly.

At the end of the day, DPS is easy, doing maximum dps with your gear only requires reading, and a little brainpower.

I do care about the little bit increased stats on any gear or equipment, but, u know that this care costs money, and when u play with 3 lvl 80 characters, each one of them having 2-3 full sets of items (Priest: Holy, Shadow, PvP) (DK: Tank, Dps, PvP)
(Hunter: Dps, PvP), u will notice that this little increase is not worth it (especially if u dont have enough time in ur play time to grind money). In addition, Vigita was not my main, so cant really put all the best of what i have (Gems, Enchants) on him. However, when it becomes my main, it would definitely put all the best into it.

And yes, i intend on learning how to use the spreed sheet, but dont know where to start, so if u or anyone can PM me the steps or atleast a website the teaches about em, i would do it in no time.

Reading and Brainpower? u are talking to the right person, i guess.
