Madcity’s Application To Zero Gravitas.
Hi everyone, this is my application to Zero Gravitas, I hope you enjoy it and thanks for reading it. I have made a previous application with my other character- Waghh. Just so you know im not applying with him, its Madcity I want to raid with.

Professions: I have between my characters- 450 Mining and Herbalism, 450 Jewelcrafting and Alchemy. JC and Alchemy on Madcity.

Raiding Times: I can raid mostly any day up till 24:00 on a weekday and on a weekend I can raid a few hours later than that.
My Reasons For Applying: For as long as ive raided I haven’t been lucky with guilds, I have always been declined because of my gear level or raiding times, or the fact that the guild is full on my class/spec. I am truly hoping Zero Gravitas can change that. I check your site regularly and noticed that you were recruiting the Rogue class. And another big reason for this application is my dad, Trollnumone has recently gained a trial with Zero Gravitas and while he is a nag, I would like to be in a raiding guild with him. Be it on your hands if you decide to split up a father and son…. *puppy eyes*. I am looking to join a stable and exciting raiding guild and see no better than Zero Gravitas.
Previous Guilds: I have been in 2 raiding guilds with this character, Shadowmane Tribe and The Invincible Heroes. I joined Shadowmane Tribe with hopes of raiding naxx and other lower content raids successfully, but their progression was too slow for me. So I left to apply to The Invincible Heroes. I went on a Naxx 25 raid with them and we managed to clear one quarter in three hours. While I have nothing against the guild, I just didn’t feel that type of progression was right for me. So here I am, guildless and living off pugs.
Gear: My gear is not up to Ulduar standards as of yet. I have some nice pieces and still some horrible pieces. I am aware I wouldn’t be able to raid Ulduar if I was to join you guys. I am hoping this will not be a problem soon though as I am finding pug raids all the time to gear myself up.
Raiding Experience: This is including Waghh AND Madcity’s raiding experience, because obviously I was playing on them both.
Classic WoW: Unfortunately none. I played the game at that time but never got to level 60.
TBC: This was abit better for me raiding wise. I cleared Karazhan, Gruuls, Magtheridon, ZA, 4/5 in TK and all except Archimonde in MH.
Wotlk: Naxxramas 10/25 cleared. OS 10/25 cleared. EOE 10/25 Cleared. VoA 10/25 Cleared. Ulduar 10- 11/14. Ulduar 25 5/14.
My Role in a raid: My role is of course to provide as much damage as possible. I do this using my 51/13/7 Mutilate spec.
My Rotation: I start most fights off in stealth, sprinting if I have to reach the target quickly. I use garrotte while in stealth and then as soon as im out of stealth I use hunger for blood. I then have one combo point from Garrotte as hunger for blood isn’t a finishing move, I use that combo point on slice and dice, I then use mutilate twice and then use envenom to refresh Slice and dice to its 5 point duration. I have the time to use Mutilate twice because of the talent overkill, which provides me with 30% energy regeneration whilst in stealth, and for 20 seconds whilst out of stealth (I can also use vanish in a boss fight for that buff). So, I now have slice and dice for 20 seconds, I use mutilate twice again and then pop out a rupture- this leaves me with about 10-12 seconds to get another 5 combo points from mutilate and use envenom to refresh slice and dice, it is usually cut very fine but it works.
Glyphs:
Major:
-Glyph of Rupture makes rupture last 4 seconds longer.
-Glyph of Hunger for Blood Increases bonus damage of HfB by 3%
-Glyph of Mutilate Mutilate costs 5 less energy.
Minor:
These are nothing to do with my spec; there are no good minor glyphs as far as im aware.
-Glyph of safe fall I can fall EVEN further: D
-Glyph of distract Increases range of distract by 5
-Glyph of blurred speed I can sprint on water, that’s pretty awesome tbh.
Gems and Enchants:
I have enchanted all of my “good” gear, this is due to tightness with money really, I have not enchanted most of my gear down to them being blues, if its needed I will enchant them but I really see it as a waste of money to be honest, as I am hoping to replace them soon. I gem all my gear accordingly, and this wont be a problem as I am a 450 Jewelcrafter.
I have used my JC dragon’s eye bonus gems for hit and expertise, as I am currently trying to cap them. For my normal gems I will be using the attack power + hit rating gem until I reach a comfortable amount of hit rating and start using attack power and agility gems.
Key Bindings:
I don’t use keys except for the first few number keys “1, 2, 3, 4, 5”- I usually click the rest of my abilities, this doesn’t affect my gameplay in the slightest, I have used this since I started wow and it wouldn’t feel right to use keybindings, I can of course start doing it if it’s needed, but I can promise it really wouldn’t affect my gameplay.

I’m not big on addons, using only the simplest ones for my interface.

Me and wow: I got into wow when Trollnumone bought a copy of it a few months after it was released, me and my brother played it mostly and we had a lot of arguments who got to play it, of course he won most of the time because he’s bigger :’(. I started off with a few dwarf hunters and gnome warlocks, getting to level 6 then being bored of the class. So I carried on making some alts on Runetotem and then finally made my warrior, Waghh- I really enjoyed the warrior class but was always too lazy to level him up – it took me till halfway into TBC to get a character raiding. So obviously I was behind everyone else raiding wise- so I did abit of Karazhan and Gruuls and Maggies until I decided I wanted abit more out of raiding, I applied to a guild on a different server and was accepted, so I transferred over to the server Nordrassil and joined the guild Turncoats. I had a lot of fun raiding TK and MH and ZA with these guys but unfortunately they lost a lot of members and just stopped raiding altogether. So I took a little break from raiding and levelled my rogue on Runetotem, I also decided to transfer my warrior back to Runetotem. I have sinced levelled them both up to 80- Madcity way behind Waghh to be level 80, but he’s there now. Im now a little tired of tanking after doing it for basically all my warriors life- so I decided to try out raiding as a dps with my rogue, and I love it, I find it much more fun than tanking and am hoping to find a guild where I can dps in top raids with great players, not including Trollnumone of course.
About Me: My name is Alex, im 15 years old and from St.Helens England. I don’t really like it here, but it’s ok. I’ve played computer games nearly all my life along with my brother and dad. I also have an Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. As you can see I love to play games, but I also spend a lot of my times watching films. I also enjoy watching sports. I feel I could be a fun and useful addition to the Zero Gravitas raiding team. I also feel amazed ive wrote so much for this application :eek: .
