Hello POC visitors:
I'm visiting every forum I know to make this post.
I've just learned about a devious, cunning, and clever scheme going around. And its really penetrated several guilds on Runetotem. Take heed and get this message to your guild please.
Essentially someone with names similar to guild officers (i.e., using funny european characters) emails you in game to get you to go get members to download a "video" which has a keylogger in it.
They are especially targeting members with names that have vowels with accents on them, like i, and y, which look virtually identical to their non accented counterpart.
The in-game email looks like this:
Hey My Brothers
this is a publicity video about our guild, everyone can go to watch it.
and give me some advice!

Vigilience from everyone is certainly required. Clearly no officer or class leader will ever email members in game like this, and certainly never to download an exe program. In fact, at Riddlebox and Droods these announcements come from our Forums, and would use Youtube...
