Kreznar
24th Feb 09, 05:42 PM
Greetings Protectors of Chaos, I'd like to introduce myself first. My name is Andrea Peinetti, I am 19 years old and I come from Italy. I live in a big city named Torino (the 2006 olympic city) and I am currently studying at the first grade of engeneering university. I've always enjoyed playing videogames since I was young and on spare time apart from World of Warcraft I usually spend hours on silly flashgames I found on the net. Besides pc games I've played basketball for 11 years and even if now I've stopped playing at agonistic level I still follow matches of my old team.
Since I started playing this game I've always tryed to give as much as I could in every aspect of it, that's why I consider myself a dedicated player with enough skills to reach high levels in both PvE and PvP enviorment.
It's time to move on wth my application.
From now I'll try to follow to your application template.
Character Name: Kreznar
Race & Class: Undead, Death Knight
Current Server: Runetotem
Armory Link: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Runetotem&n=Kreznar
Playing Times: I can attend to every raid, from Monday to Friday. I don't have any issue with your times and I am also online during most of week's afternoons to gather consumables, money and, of course, for Arenas.
Previous Guilds:
I started playing world of Warcraft since 2004, from the first day it was released on live servers. After some random day spent on alliance characters I finally understood that Horde was my finaly destination and I created a troll hunter (only God knows why I choose that race) named Kreznar.
I levelled him to 60 under the flag of some friendly italian guild.
The days passed and when I finally had my full Beastsalker set completed I got accepted in SlacKeRs. This guild meant everything to me, I still remember every player that I've raided with and I will never forget them. I've been in most of our endboss kills, including Ragnaros, Nefarian, Razuvious and every boss in AQ.
Raiding with SlacKeRs and competing with other horde guilds on Runetotem has been great.
Unfortunately when TBC came out Slackers officers decided to use the free trasnfer avaible to move on Anachronos server. I didn't like that decision at all and decided to stay on Runetotem. Some day before the launch of the expansion I got accepted in Corruption, a new formed hardcore guild. After some month of good raid progression I missed too much my old friends and I transfered aswell on Anachronos. That's where my TBC raid experience finishes. Infact, after some week in Anachronos, due to a bad real life situation, I decided to suspend my account untill I could sort all my issues.
After some month I came back with a new character. The hunter class wasn't so attractive anymore to me and I got offered to play my mate's rogue, Fray. I focused on the PvP side of the game and reached some pretty high level, 2300 rating in both 2vs2 and 3vs3 in season 2 and part of season 3. Unfortunately my mate decided to get his account back and even if I could still play my hunter, I decided to focus on my real life untill the new expansion was out.
When WOTLK started I choose to change class again, levelling my death knight as fast as I could. Since I consider myself a fast learner I gave all I could to improve my skills and abilities through levels and once at 80, with heroic groups. When I had decent gear I applied to Morrigan. I got accepted on early December and I've progressed with them through every raid instance. Some week ago I also got the Class Master rank from my officers. After 2 months and half spent in Morrigan I decided to try something else, because I couldn't enjoy the game and it's raiding content as much I always wished to do.
Reasons for Applying:
The reason why I am applying to your guild is because I really want to fully enjoy the PvE content, I am looking for a group of skilled and prepared people that can finally help me to reach my goals. At the same time I hope you could offer me the chance to improve myself every day improve my performances.
Raiding Experience:
Old WoW: Cleared MC, ZG, Onyxia, BWL, AQ up to Twin Emperors and Razuvious in old Naxxramas.
TBC: Kara, Gruul, Maghteridon, Void Reaver, Hydross, MH the first 2 bosses (post 3.0)
WOTKL: Cleared every encounter in the game apart from Sartharion + 3 drakes.
I can't wait to see more raid encounters and for what I've read so far Ulduar looks great. Before the patch I'd love to finally clear the Obsidian Sanctum instance once for all.
Your Role:
My role in raids is to bring a high amount of damage on single and multiple targets, providing aswell several buffs that can improve raid dps. Those depend mostly from my current talent tree spec as the 10% AP bonus can be offered by going deep in blood talents, Improved Icy Tallons from frost tree and Ebon Plaguebringer from unholy. At the moment I have enough armor pieces and weapons to raid as 2h Blood, Dual wield, 2h Frost, or Unholy (Both 2h and daul wield).
I'm willing to respec as many times as long is necessary for the raid, already spent over 4000g on respecs, I think I can afford more.
At the moment Diseaseless spec in blood, Dual wield frost and 2h Unholy seem to be the most competitive ones comparing Sarth + 3 drakes and Patch parses on EJ. I'd probably prefer to stick to any of those tree.
During those months of raids I've worked hard to push myself to the limit and I've been topping on almost every occasion Morrigan's damage meters, both in overall and single boss fights, mostly with dual wield and 2h unhol spec as we were short on death knights to test out the diseaseless spec in a raid enviorment and I had to cover EP buff. Since the first day I hit level 80 I started praticing on dummies and bosses to obtain the highest dps possible and I still work hard on it every day, reading threads on numerous DK blogs, including EJ of course.
Unluckly I couldn't obtain any of Morrigan's WWS as I don't have the forum access anymore, anyways here's my very simple UI showing my damage on a short time recount run:

I've always been a fun of blizzard's standard interface and I never wanted to chnge it, I use Omen DBM and NeedtoKnow addon's to keep track of boss times and my diseased.
I think that's all, feel free to ask me questions regarding rotations or anything else you would like to know about me.
Thanks to the officers and to any member of Protectors of Chaos that spent his time reading my application.
