EDIT: I recently went restoration for a maggy run in a pug, and I must say, even though my gear is no where near acceptable for it, it is a very interesting tree, and I totally love healing.
Playing Times:
My normal playing hours are generally any time after around 4pm GMT, This is because im currently studying for my A levels at school, so my time is taken up by this, however, due to the free timetable, I am able to be on WoW for raids leading deep into the morning.
Generally I would only ever not play on the weekends, but as I am understand, that is not a problem with your current raiding schedule. This is because I do enjoy to spend time with my family, as my dad has recently moved a few thousand miles away to work, so spending time with my mum and siblings is needed to keep the stress of him being away from building up.
Previous Guilds:
My previous guild as this druid was Riddlebox. This was a long time ago, back when SSC/TK was the “main” instances. The reason behind this long break for my, was as the guild was going through a bad patch, and no raids were being held, I used my alliance paladin to raid with.
Any other guilds this character has been in would not be because of me, unfortunately my druid was hacked and after many hours on the phone to blizzard, attempting to get the character back, I managed to retrieve him, thankfully nothing amazingly bad had happened to the character, and most of its gear.
Reasons for applying:
Well, like many others all I want to do with WoW, is finish it. I’ve had a passion for raiding since I first hit level 60 on my very first character a long time ago.
I can tell from your raiding progress that you are a very good guild, and to get the chance at a place within this very well established raiding guild would be an honor. Like many, the chance at seeing those big bad monsters sat inside the instances falling to ground, is one that I would love to experience within the likes of a high end raiding guild.
Raiding Experience:
My pre-bc raiding experience consists of clearing every instance upto aq40 mainly on my hunter Remo, but I also did a bit of raiding on my druid.
I unfortunately missed out on C’thun, but I did get to have a good few laughs in Naxx before tbc hit. My favorite fight during this time, I would have to say was the princess, I loved the fight, and more so the laughs I had within <Liberation> on my hunter when we had all those 1% wipes.
During TBC I raided as my paladin Virture. I managed to make my way through as protection, through every fight up to and including illidan in BT, and all bosses in MH.
Alas I never made it past the 1st boss of sunwell, as I had exams at the exact time I got into the instance, which meant I had to stop and focus on them for that period of time.
My all time favorite fight I have to say was Archimonde, although at first I didn’t understand it, and I failed miserably, I managed to get the hang of it, and it turned into a very exciting raid encounter for me.
My goals for the future, I would have to say, are to, hopefully complete all the raid instances in WOTLK. Not to mention, to finish all the achievements on the lists, as I have been doing that with my Xbox360s games, why not try with WoW? *smiles*
My Role:
I believe my role as a druid, is to, dependant on spec, is protect the raid group, essentially I have been feral, so tanking is not out of my area of comfort, and since my first day of raiding, I have always kept the, you are nothing compared to the healer attitude in, so when needed I will take anything of a healer even if it means death for myself.
As a healer, the same rules apply, in a way, its there too protect those who need protecting, and keeping everyone alive is always first on my list.
My gear is based around feral dps mainly, however I am able to go into a mixed set for tanking, my talents I believe are ok for dps, however, I really didn’t know what to pick with the release of the new talents, and any advice that any of your druids could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Personal Information:
Well, My name is Daniel, im a 16 year old A level student, living in Milton Keynes, England. Currently I live with my mum and younger brothers and sisters, my dad as previously stated, is working around 3000 miles away in the country Qatar, as finding work in my area is becoming ever so difficult.
For A levels Im studying; History, Chemistry, Geography, and Information Technology, I chose this A levels becoming im intent on training to become an RAF Pilot when I turn 18. All I need to do now is get the grades and keep my fitness up, and I should be fine, I hope. Within the RAF I hope to get to fly fighter jets, such as the euro fighter, which, although many Americans will argue, I believe to be the single best fighter jet there is right now.
Aside from fighters, I would love the chance at flying search and rescue in the sea king, I think that the difficulty of flying a helicopter could be really exciting.
As I believe I said above, I have been playing WoW since around 3months after its release in the EU; over this time I have met a lot of very good friends, some of which have changed my life a lot. Many of which I would not give up without a fight. And it would be nice to be able to become friends with people within PoC.
I have played a few other MMO’s, Such as Age Of Conan, and Warhammer Online, but neither really tally up in my mind, to what World of Warcraft is, as this is a game that for some reason, just keeps me hooked, and no others seem to compare towards it. I also love playing on my Xbox, im a massive fan of Fps games, such as COD4, and have become quite good at getting my ass kicked on it. Lol, im also a fan of my flight simulators, and im totally hooked on FSX, I love planes, which is a main reason for wanting to join the RAF.
Aside from games, I have started reading the Tom Clancy novels, as my dad owns all of them, I though I might as well read the lot, and so far im totally hooked. I love my sports, and I currently hold a First Diploma in Sports Performance, which although easy, involved doing a lot of physical activity, which I must say was very good fun.
I also love cooking, and I keep learning how to make new things every day. =]
As a person, I would have to say, I have a very strange humor and I love having a laugh with friends and family, however, I do know how to be serious when it’s needed.
I would like to thank you for reading this application, and I hope it is good enough for you to consider it.
On a side note, although I do not know the class very well, I am very willing to make a Death Knight should you want me to make one, and I would spend as much time as I could reading up on the class, and learning the class in and out to become as good as I can.
Thank-you once again
Synical.
