Previous Guilds
Nameless Army - MC PoC - MC/BWL, Nothing Decent - MC AQ20, Untamed ZG, (runetotem)
Kaos Contingency on magtheridon (alliance) -Kara/SSC/TK etc

Reasons for Applying:*
firstly i heard that gear restrictions have been lifted due to wotlk hitting. my god i hope thats true or im screwed... ohh why arent you an allaince guild ....
well poc was my second ever guild... i joined at around level 33ish with narlax on my hunter called manderin and druid called manderic, at around lvl 55 i left to play with another irl friend and we started our own guild called Untamed as joint guild leaders. i rejoined PoC after our guild merged and raided MC/and the start of BWL. my account was then comprimised (gotta hate the hackers) and banned because it was identified as a 'security risk'... sucks for me but life goes on!

after that i left Runetotem and created an ...... ehem..... allaince druid on magtheridon in time for BC, now i feel i'd like to expand my raid experience and with wotlk so close i dont see it happening before, not REAL experience anyway. ok so iv'e seen some mid game material, but the guild my druid was in didnt seem very fussed about any more progression, so raids dwindled and i turned more towards pvp during season 3.

Now i realise that pvp is nothing compared to the satisfaction of first time kills and exploring new content.i know there are some people out there who play wow as a typical game. its NOT, when you're part of a guild REAL people rely on you to help them, and turn up on time, even if you might have something else to do, if you've said you'd do something. do it. im tired of people letting eachother down. excuses are just that. excuses. (iv'e said my peice)
From my memory and through narlax i know that PoC members are mature, helping and trustable, and personally i can think of no better type of guild

as far as raidings concernedI've seen as much as im going to in BC, and quite frankly its just not enough, i want to start again, try hard, putting time and effort into the game and wait for the results. and what better a place than with an old guild with people i know, even if you dont all remember me. i have actually raided with you since BC on narlax in BT once when his internet crashed mid raid and he needed help. although stricktkly speaking i think thats supposed to be a shh'd subject
Recently i have also been using Narlax's account quite often... i am the so called 'fake lax' i did a few heroic runs with you guys.... if you did a run with a lax who complained of lagg alot. that was me.

although i do have preference towards the shaman as a main character, the mage would still suit me fine but there is definatley something about shamans that tweaks my fancy!
finally to be truthfully honest playing with narlax after ... 2 years? would also be a huge bonus especially since he's gone to Uni now

Raiding Experience
Pre-BC: ZG - cleared MC-cleared AQ20-cleared onyxia - cleared BWL- most of
BC: Kara -cleared, Maggy, gruuls, SSC upto vashj and TK cleared. no exp. in MH or further, and oddly ive never been to ZA

Your Role
well my shaman is your's to create. im very comfortable with healing at any level, as thats what i did on my druid. but dps is an option too. shamans (imo) are world class raid/group buffers and so it would be my job to make sure that totems are placed in the most effective places for raid usage, and at the correct time, and of course no-one im designated to dies. ive never played a 70 shaman, and im sure that isn't in my favour. but in all honestly i believe i can do it, and to a high standard, over the years i've built up alot of experience and knowledge of every class even if ive not played them before, ive read and re-read ALOT of posts on the wow forums about shaman game play in all specs and gear types, ive watched countless vidoes of shaman PoV boss fights in preperation to play this character to the best of my ability.

my mage is of course a water vendor and a taxi to who ever requires it. but mages amazingly do have more roles than that! ok so their Dps isn't quite the same as those rogues out there, but it definatley holds it's own. not only that it provides uses in the form of polymorph, buffs, interupts and increased raid damage through debuffs on the boss/mob.
it will certianly be interesting to see where mage dps sits at level 80. personally i dont expect great things(in comparison to pre-patch)but then again being top of the damage meters isn't everything and a character that you enjoy to play and spend time on quite frankly is far more important to me and i hope to most other people too.

Personal Information
well im 18, my names Mawgan (supposedly Celtic), and i'm from the Uk. i've finished my A levels where i studied chemistry, Law, Archaeology and Theology. im currently working part time as a landscape gardener while waiting for a placement in the police. i spend a great deal of time with my friends when ever i can, even if it means the odd game of golf :S, or better yet a session on WoW. ive only played one other RPG, which was lotro, and although good it just wasn't the same as wow. if im not playing wow or out with friends ill often be found playing css or WC3:TFT

Thats it i guess
