We’re not taking on just anyone who expresses an interest, we don’t need 25 new people, maybe 1 or 2, or maybe more, or if we don’t get any applications that make us stand up and take notice, maybe none.
We need to be sure that you are special and can improve our raid team. We know if your from RT that you haven’t blown SWP wide open in a show of brute force pre patch, because no one did, so why should we take you into our guild? How will you help us to be faster/cleaner/more prepared in our raiding?

M'uru Dead
There's a scene in a comic I have where Batman is squaring up against Captain America in some implausible crossover event, they both test each other for a while, then Batman says: 'it is conceivable you could beat me, but it would take you a very long time'.
That's basically where we had got to with M'uru before the patch, certainly the hardest boss I have ever attempted - I mean this guy was haaaard. We got it to about 30-40% in P1, which probably would have taken a couple of months to turn into a kill.
A fight that needs 4 tanks, only 6 healers and demands higher dps than Brutallus, waves of adds - some of which spawn in random places, and about a dozen different abilities to monitor whatever role you had. And then you had a Vashj-style transition to Phase 2, which was even harder.
Coming back tonight it was a bit like using a cheat mode. Nothing really mattered anymore - dps just nuke whatever is in range, transition whenever you like, aoe as many adds as you can. Took the reward out of the kill really, and I don't really feel inclined to write a bombastic kill report when it feels like we just hacked it.
One thing though, considering it is probably the best thought out boss in TBC at least, it's very understated: no speech, no dramatic effects or graphics, and most of the time you just fight trash mobs. M'uru himself (itself) looks like a smudgy paperclip (as UT say) and the whole encounter could be made redundant if there was some way to shut the doors. And am I the only one who spends all the fight trying to fix my camera?
Kil'Jaeden however, looks awesome - that's a proper boss. Hopefully the big red pervert will die next week if the server is stable.

A kill post with the word "bombastic" in it, by any other name, is still a kill post with the word "bombastic" in it :)

Gotta say fantastic job with M'uru guys 'n' gals. Im having proper bad withdrawal symptoms without broadband!
Good luck with KJ.
EDIT: And the fact that you have compared PoC to Captain America made me chuckle, brut.
