About Me
My name is Gareth and I am from Ireland! I have always enjoyed online gaming, ever since it really became available I’ve been playing it. I’ve played a few MMO’s in the past although WoW seems to be the most fun, and also most addictive. I’ve been playing an alliance hunter for over a year now, and been raiding for months. I began levelling my hunter again when I bought The Burning Crusade, although once I reached 65, I felt I needed a new challenge. I decided that I would re-roll Horde as a Paladin on my friend’s realm. This way I could get a new challenge and play with my friend. I started my paladin on 3rd February and am trying to level as fast as possible, I’ve managed to reach 42, so I hope to reach the level cap soon. I enjoy end-game raiding and hope that I can join PoC’s paladin squad.

Main: Valyria (Level 42 Paladin)
Spec: Ive gone deep Retribution as of now, Mainly for levelling up to 70, Then I’ll respec to more appropriate instance/raiding specc on reaching the level cap. Have had this (http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basics/talents/paladin/talents.html?055031225231325313510000000000000000000005000400000000000000000) specc in mind for raiding with, although im eager to do more research and gain advice from other players as to which specc would benefit the guild as a whole the most
Gear: Having levelled quite fast I have not had the time to take my gear into consideration. Once I level to 70 I will be doing all the higher level instances as an effort to gear myself up to reach the current raiding standards.
Professions: Currently Skinning and Mining as a means of subsistence. Am thinking of maybe taking up jewelcrafting once I finish up levelling or when I begin to earn a bit more gold through quests etc. But I am also open to suggestions from the guild as to what profession I take up. Be it that you need a master weapon-smith or armour-smith, im more than willing to advance in them.
Previous Guilds
As of Runetotem I have not really been a part of any guilds. I did join up to “Unknown Army” as a way of providing me with some people to chat to as I Level up, as it can become quite lonely in Azeroth since the expansion launched . I have rerolled from Draenor, from the guild “The Hilt.” In this guild I cleared all of Molten Core and the 20 mans, as well as having killed up to Flamegor in BWL, Chrommagus moved out of our reach after Decursive was pwned as we just didn’t have what it takes to do it manually in such an encounter.
Raid Experience
On my Ally hunter, I’ve cleared ZG, MC, AQ20, and downed Flamegor in BWL. I am all to familiar with the thrill of progression and guild first kills. Nothing is better than pushing yourself that extra length for that one last attempt to down a boss :headbang:
Raid Availability
I go to school each day from 8:30-3:40pm (UK time) and the evenings I’m free for whatever raiding there is. I’m available to stay up until whatever time the raid is called. This is one of the key points that attracted me to PoC, your raid schedule suit me very well :smile:
Why Us?
I’ve been following the progress of Protector Of Chaos for a number of months through my real life friend Aziroth. He was the one who convinced me on his alliance alt to come to the horde side, I finally agreed to this upon the “We have cookies!” line he dropped one night xD.
Aziroth has also told me all about the light hearted atmosphere that is present in Protectors Of Chaos, something which seemed to be lacking alliance side. I am very eager to meet new people and get a taste of the grass on the other side of the fence.
Lastly, I believe that PoC can present me with an environment where I can push myself to new limits though raids and instances, as well as provide me with a place to meet interesting and mature new people :)
