Hello Protectors of Chaos, below is my application.

Class: Level 70 Tauren Shaman (Elemental)
Current Server: Turalyon
About Me:
Hi my real name is Chris im 23 and come from england. I work within the operating theatre of a hospital and when not helping to knock people out and dissect them on the operating table I enjoy playing WOW obviously! Spend most of my spare time playing or spending time with the missus, and occasionally go out clubbing if I have the cash.
Reasons for wanting to join:
Well this is a long story, so bare with me :)
Started off on Turalyon as my warrior pre-tbc had many encounters with raid instances within stable guilds and had lots of fun seeing the end game content and finally cracking them hard boss encounters! Unfortunately as the expansion pack arrived raid sizes, people leaving and other factors involved with raiding guild began to die. After much trying to get back on our feet it was just too late.
Following which I decided I would not sit around in Orgimmar while others had all the fun. Got a few of my close friends in the game and made our own guild Ascension and after a hard recruitment slog 7 players > 35+ players we managed to progress from karazhan to end of SSC within 2 months. However again as what is happening again for me people not focusing, not fufilling there roles and simply not showing up for raids put pressure on the guild and key members started to splinter away. After this exodus it was decided with me and the officers to call it a day.
From this me and the same friends that created this guild went xrealm to find a new home on Silvermoon, again hit hard raid bosses and the same thing happened again people not showing up, not doing their roles in raids and giving up/morale dieing. This guild then later disbanded.
So following this it really hit me on my warrior and I decided to take a break for a bit to think things over, realised that the WOW addiction was still in me and came back. I leveled a Shaman up to 70 in a little over 6 and a half days played time and began to grind for gear and get into a raiding guild. This I achieved and quickly became part of the core team HOWEVER yet again Kael same brick wall, same guild problems etc etc.
This issue is beginning to effect how I see wow, as no matter how hard I try to be at the absoulute top of my game and give it my all as you well know in the harder encounters you need the other 24 at your back and even with feedback, encouragement and help nothing is changing.
Now I am not one to jump ship when times get rough its just I despirately want to progress within the game, see encounters that at the moment can only look up in videos and be within a raid that I know the other 24 people are wanting to be there as much as I am!
Sorry for the long block of text but felt it was important to give you my standpoint at the moment.
Previous Raid Experience:
Pre TBC
All 20 mans completed.
MC/BWL/AQ40 (up to C'thun)/Naxx (think it was 4 bosses)
All done on warrior both as dps and as a tank when required.
Post TBC
Raid Leader and MT for all raids in:
Karazhan - Full Clear
Gruul - Cleared
Magtheridon - Cleared
SSC - Cleared
TK - Cleared up to Kael'Thas
All these instances I played on my warrior and on my current shaman, yet Post TBC I was raid leader and guild master and as such i had to have a indepth knowledge of all classes to able to plan strategies of the bosses and to make the most of each classes abilities within the raid environment.

Kael Vial?: Unfortunately no

My current talent spec is a Elemental build:

This is the build I have found to be the best for elemental dps shaman. Now whilst i am this spec i am willing if you are only looking for a restoration shaman primarly I am willing to respec to help the guild however if possible would prefer to stay DPS.
I do have t4 level restoration gear and if that is the only spec you needed me as would work on getting that up to par.
Atm my gear is lacking yes, but give me the chance and i put in my all to benefit the raid in any way possible and be focused on the encounters showing up willing to raid and give it my all.

Leatherworking: 375
Attitude Towards Raiding:
As from being a guild master and raid leader of a raiding guild progressing through instances learning new encounters is what really is the point of WOW. As such i've had to make sure that any encounter I read up, watch videos, and read forums from many sources to get as much information as tips as possible to improve my own game on the fight but also to disseminate to the raid as required.
Now whilst I have said the background I am coming from I am not one to question orders from leaders or officers and believe that I know best. I am and will if given the opportunity fulfil everything that is asked or required for me in a raiding sense.
Raid Availability:
Mon-Fri: Available from 19:00 - 24:30 server time (EST I think?)
Sat-Sun: Available all day if needed.
However due to the nature of my work I do work a shift pattern and on a normal week I will be able to attend 95% of raids there will obviously be the times when ill be on nights for a week etc and not be able to attend. However this doesn’t happen to often as we do a rotation for such shifts. I do have a small child now but my partner is off work to look after her so that is not an issue however if something comes up urgently that I need to see to her with then that might stop me attending once every blue moon.

But again the person you would be trialing to hopefully recruit is someone who will be there for raids when needed, having read the strats and be willing to give it is all! Although this I am not one who isnt willing to have a laugh and enjoy the smaller aspects of the game, naked running to gadgetzan from the barrens as a level 1 anyone? hehe.
