· Name: Sander & Sara
· Age: 19
· Character Name: Dobbelsteen
· Class: Paladin
· Level: 70
· Build & Gear: Protection, http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Runetotem&n=Dobbelsteen
· Any notable resistance gear: Not at the moment, can collect it fast though if needed.
· First Aid: 375
· Professions: Engineering and Mining, both at 375.
· Previous Guilds: Elegantly Wasted and The Muppets
· Reasons for Leaving:
- The Muppets. I left this guild because I was looking for a more "hardcore" raiding guild. Not a casual, pve/pvp guild.
- Elegantly Wasted, it was a brand new guild with great potential, formed by ex-Droods. However, 25 mans ended up killing the guild for me. It was impossible to gather 25 decent people online so we could attempt some 25 man content. I'm leaving because I don't want to be stuck raiding 10 mans until the next expansion.
And now, a little bit more about myself.
I'm Sander, born and raised in Belgium and a student in Ghent. Together with Sara, I play on this WoW account. We started playing together over a year ago, and still are. We live together and when one's playing, the other is just watching most of the time, so the fact that this character is played by 2 different persons, doesn't matter at all since the other one is nearby almost all the time.
As for raiding goes, Sander is the only one that will be doing that, so during raids and instancing, you'll be playing with the same player every time.
Our first character was Bellefleur, an undead rogue, levelled to 70 and did a fair bit of Karazhan and GL. However after a while I got bored of having to look for a group for at least 30 minutes every time I wanted to do a heroic or something, so I decided to roll a Paladin with th intention of healing.
Thus Dobbelsteen was created. I heared about AOE-grinding as a protection paladin for fast and easy levelling, and decided to level that way. By the time I reached level 70, I respecced Holy and got bored 2 days later.
I wanted to make a tank, so I tried levelling a warrior, but after 12 levels of watching a huge tauren on my screen, I couldn't take it anymore. I really didn't want to level a third character, then it hit me. I could just respec to protection on Dobbelsteen and have a nice tanking toon, already at level 70.
So that's exactly what I did, and within 3 months I managed to get a pretty nice set of tanking gear.
As for raiding experience goes, I've done Kara way too much, a couple of bosses in ZA. Tanked last 25% of Gruul after all other tanks died and saw a bit of the trash in The Eye.
I know I'm still inexperienced with most raiding content, but I'm able to learn and execute new tactics very fast. I know very well how to tank, and I've also got a set of healing gear (blues/epics) in case I'm not tanking something.
That's about it, if you've got any questions, just give me a whisper on Dobbelsteen or Doodskist (my S.Priest toon which I'm levelling atm)
