Greetings from Dink, GL of Droods

Oi oi PoC. I'm Dink. Many of you know me as Dinkmage, or a few as Paladink on Runetotem. I'm the guildleader of Droods. While Droods is a fairly new guild, we're actualy a very old guild reformed after Faust and Turdys disbanded when Faust retired. I'm actually a 37 year old American. I'm married for 14 years, with no children. I'm a Systems Analyst, Support Engineer, and Portfolio Manager for a major Fortune 50 company in the midwest so I spend my non-WOW hours at a keyboard often anyway. Yes, I know its a European server and realm, but the beer's better in Europe. We all have our values. ;) In truth, many of us have played games together for over 6 years, as F&T started as a shooter guild. And I bet most of you don't know Ruckers (i.e., Ruckerstaur, Ruckerslock) is my identical twin brother, who lives in Austria. Might be more clear why European servers makes sense.

By the way, Droods has a very active Night life, dubbed the Nightcrew. We often have 30+ members online through the night. We've several weeks with two Karazhan raids running while most of the guild sleeps. Give us a shout if you like.

You'll see a few of my officers registering soon as well. I've encouraged them to branch out and participate in some of the raiding guild forum's from Runetotem community more. Thanks to the very kind encouragement from Bruticus and Kilgrim from Borderland Legion.

The nightbirds indeed. During my insomnia phase bout 2 summers ago, the guild that was previously known as F an T kept me sane. If i remember correctly it was around this time Dinkmage was born :p

As the mighty guild leader Dinkus Maximus has stated before about posting on your forums, i thought id better run over and carry out his orders :)

Its a great opportunity to talk with some more experienced raiders i can tell you now!
As One of the main raid leaders of Droods (25 maners) ill hopefully get some tips from you lot :)

Of late i have been raising the kit level required for your runs into the eye, so hopefully we will see solarian down withing 2 weeks.

And as dink said the nightcrews are getting very busy, so give us a shout fellow insomniacs :)

Most of the fights in the eye (ok we have good gear but) seem to be about tactics and execution and don’t underestimate stamina. For sol stick on violet badge everyone gets improved GOTW and you will be resisting about 25% of the arcane bolt damage, fast assist heals on those bolts whilst dropping a few heals on your tanks. great AOE and raid healing in adds phase, rinse, repeat, Voidwalker phase, laugh, loot.

If you have the tactics down for alar its not too difficult either, above all its about tanks with high HP making slight slips not result in wipes.

Where did it went wrong then?

Regarding F&T disbanding, out of respect for our former guild leader, Faust, who is still a friend, lets leave this at Faust needed a break from MMORG gaming and retired from WOW. I never expect he'll return.
