WoW history:
The early part here obviosly reflects the fact that this is my first ever MMORPG, so I didn't quite know what it was all about really :)
I started playing WoW at launch. (Well actually the open beta before, but that didn't last long)
I've been in a few guild pre-60, that I don't remember names of (They were basically just chatter guilds. No actual guild activity)
At 60 I joined Slackers and tried some MC raids, but raiding wasn't really my thing back then, so that didn't work out.
I started "over" on alliance side for a while, and got a few classes up to 50-60 range (only hitting 60 with a warlock)
Somehow I didn't feel at home over there, so I returned to my first toon my mage back on horde side.
I joined the Order of Rose Croix back when they (along with the rest of the raid alliance Crow) still had quite a few bosses in MC to get killed, and have been with them ever since. Being there for some of the first kills :D
I've been loving the raids and the social aspects of the guild. Lately the raids haven't been able to keep me interrested. I don't want to be "stuck" only doing Kara. I need to progress once a while, and that isn't really happening in ORC atm :(

Reasons for Leaving:
ORC is doing ok in Kara, when there are enough ppl available for the raids, but GL and beyond are a real problem to get serious ppl for (even within the Crow alliance)
After being at the same place for a few months, with little "light at the end of the tunnel", I decided to look for another guild, so I can actually see more of this game :)

Raid Experience:
Old world: MC, AQ20, ZG, AQ40 (1st boss only), BWL (First 2)
Burning Crusade: Kara (All but Netherbane and the Oz event in the opera), GL (Maulgar. I was Crows "mage tank" the times I was there)

Raid Availability:
I'm currently unemployed, so have plenty of time. Assuming my next job is same type again, I'll probably be home at around 17:00-18:00 CET, and can stay as long as needed (need a little sleep ofc :D)

Why Us?:
During the time since BC was released, I've been in quite a few heroic instances with various ppl in PoC. Really enjoyed the general attitude shown in these runs.
As I wrote before. The reason I left ORC was the lack of opportunity to see new content.
I hope I'll be able to help out in PoC, and get to see further into this world.
I really enjoy raiding. Wipes doesn't bother me, as long as its a learning process, where ppl are willing to spend the time and put in the effort needed to get the kill =)

A little about me:
I've always loved computers. Been gaming and programming most of my life.
My proffesion is in software development and system administration.
Last job I had 50/50 of both. Taking administration tasks as they were needed, and otherwise digging through the pile of programming tasks there were ;)
My first computer was an old Commodore 64. Thats where I started making my first (simple) programs :)
From then its been PC all along.

Alts:
I have some alts I've been using to "pass time", and to actually try the mechanics of those classes. They vary a lot in lvl range (from early 20s to 60). Only class that isn't covered atm is warrior :)

*pushes preview button* Hmm - Application became a bit long

Hahahaha....so this is where you've slunk off to, Vip! Good choice though!

As an ex-PoCer, I'll readily vouch for the reliability of this Mage - and indeed confirm that he is also quite, quite insane. Even during my stay with PoC, I spent a fair deal of time running instances with this individual - he's a top talent in my opinion and I wish him the best of luck with his application. :)

I used to play with Vip in my Order of the rose croix days, hes a good chap and a decent player. Though he has a few to many mounts perhaps he should give me a few of them.
Anywho i can vouch for him, good luck with the application mate!:)
