Sauce....!!!!! You are not permitted to pollute the pure, salty savouriness of the bacon with SAUCE!
Though if the bacon was extracted from between the bread and accompanied by an egg, and the bread fried then Brown Sauce would be an option, so long as it was "Daddies Sauce", not just any old brown muck!
That IS the correct answer. If you remember I am un-challengeable due to my bloody mindedness.

Rules are rules.. ketchup on bacon, brown on sausages! If we didn't have rules where would we be? Stormwind!

ketchup is the devils condiment, may as well pour half a bag of sugar on anything you eat.

HP sauce is the don. There is no debate.
Tomato sauce is for the weak and feeble minded. Daddy's sauce is for the destitute who shop at Spa, cos its a bank holiday and they forgot to get propper food in.
There are rules, Rafrok you are correct. In fact the missing '11th commandement' reads:
11, And lo, with any form of sausage or bacon, thou shalt only use HP sauce (but dont get it anywhere near your fried egg).
Once you know this then the burning bush makes much more sense. Its a shame they forgot to mention the red hot frying pan sat on top of it....

Actually....
In England there were tests about Brown sauce and tomato ketchup. It turned out that the further north you go the more peopel prefer Brown Sauce (HP sauce accept no subsitute!) and the more South you go the more people prefer Tomato Ketchup.
So it only goes to show :)

So it only goes to showthat you are all noobs except Gristle and Asool, who have discovered the true beauty of 'The Daddy' of sauces.
Fixed.

Sorry, but in Italy we developed cooking to the point that there is no need to use some taste covering crap like sauces in order to prepare something not only edible but also very tasty. Sauces are for cultures whose brains did not develop enough during a prior evolutionary phase, so sorry for you brits and ah.... lol..... the garlic using snail eaters too...... ofc you need industrially assembled sauces if you eat junk!

and you want to compare that to Ketchup and HP sauce made in greasy industrial complexes? Italian ones are not sauces, they are food, there is a huge difference!

I thought the point was Veal is the superior meat of choice, and the Italians cook it better than anyone?
Suplicium

Veal is good, but many types of meat, depending on the age of the animal and the cut are wonderful, and tbh many culinary cultures are awesome at cooking meat, like Argentinian method, and the Japanese's way of cooking kobe meat rocks.

All,
It was nice to see I can still prompt some nutty conversation from you lot! Gristle as always is one of the the few who knows what he's talking about. As far as Pasta goes....

Belgium....moules et frites! Mayonnaise and Beer. No other food that I am aware of.
But enough of this savoury goodness. How about desert. again I got you all licked. This is "Junior's" Cheescake, the best in NYC. It is amazing. So much so, that when LG went to NY a few months ago I made him get some and video it to prove it. Only to be accompanied by coffee....no sauces! It is delicious, Italian Icecream or Belgian chocolate puds won't touch it.
