Xaphania

Hey. I’m writing in response to the recruitment thread posted on Runetotem.eu concerning a Warlock. Apologies about the delay between your writing and my applying, the reason is outlined below. Hope you enjoy…
Main:
Xaphania <70 Warlock>
Speck:
Currently Affliction <44/7/10> for primal grinding purposes. However, my build is dictated by whichever specc allows me to achieve my full potential given the present situation. <A posh way of saying I’m open to respecc>
Armoury Link:
http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Runetotem&n=Xaphania
Gear:
Given the non-raiding nature of my previous guild, I have concerned myself with picking up the epic tailoring pieces. Both the Spellstrike Hood and Girdle of Ruination will be in my possession within 5 days.
Fire Res: A few high 60s ‘of Fire Res’ pieces ~ 50
Nature Res: Numerous high 60s ‘of Nature Res’ pieces ~ 100
Arcane Res: +50
Attunements:
I’m a post TBC toon so no Azeroth content. Keyed for all heroics and Kara attuned. The Eye and SSC go without saying I guess.
Professions:
375 Tailor – Can craft Arcanoweave Robe. 375 Alchemy Elixir Master – Can craft Maj. Arcane Protection Pots. 375 First Aid
Previous Guilds:
The reason for the delay in this application. Joined <Soulbound> at 60 for some casual fun. Ended up an officer and made two valuable friends in the process. Unfortunately due to current circumstances on RT, the success of this guild was not to be. We disbanded last night due to a variety of internal problems.
Raid Experience:
Hmmm, this is where the plot thickens. Lets not dick around this point, I have very little actual raiding experience. However, before you unceremoniously brand me with the noob stick, listen up. I have the ability to cope, and indeed excel, in any raiding situation. The reasons…
>I’m a smart guy. And a smart player. I am constantly seeking new ways to raise the bar, particularly in PvE. Through a variety of macros, key bindings and careful observation I have tailored my character to shine in a 5-man setting. I am eager to do the same in raiding situations.
>Aziroth – He is my brother IRL and for the best part of 2 years I’ve watched him hogging the PC to raid MC/BWL and more recently Kara with PoC. Whilst this has stopped me raiding myself, I have observed the standard by which PoC raids are conducted and I’m certain I can maintain this. <I got my own computer so I can now raid at the same time as hunterboy>
>Resourcefulness. Kael’thas does not have AOL. I do. Tactics/ Strategies/ Add-ons coupled with the ability to read means I shall be thoroughly up to date on every encounter before the fight starts.
So yea, have faith in this sexy Belf.
Raid Availability:
Summer time is upon us and I’m as free as a free thing. Except for a few odd days here and there I am available to raid on a daily basis
Why Us?:
Cause Horde Legends turned me down…no but seriously, where do I start? I have played RT since release and currently there are more quality horde guilds than ever, yet PoC still stands above the rest. In addition to proven PvE capability, the fact that you guys are not just button clickers really appeals to me. IMO the social element of a guild is as important as any other and it is most certainly present in PoC. So yea, *rockon*
About Me:
My name’s Gareth, I’m 19 and from Northern Ireland. This year I’ve been working as a volunteer youth worker on a rough estate. So when I’m not dodging petrol bombs I enjoy playing WoW, hanging with friends and gymin’. Come September I’ll be heading to Bham to study law. So yea, the next criminal conviction you pick up will be defended free of charge. 200g for each thereafter…
Thanks for reading, Love you. Xaph
